Fund Accounting

Document, analyze and record spending (Purchase Orders, Requisitions, etc.) on all projects, assets (equipment, bridges, roads, etc.) and inventory purchases to perpetual inventory system). The Fund Accounting module provides graphical analysis for easier analysis of trends, spending to budget and other related analysis. Entry is on one screen, with automatic “rollups” and transparent management module interfaces.

Budgeting and Control

With a couple of mouse clicks, at any time desired, you can compare actual spending to budget and generate a graphic analysis to display trends, etc.

Inventory

The Inventory module is multi-location capable. This means you can categorize each inventory you maintain by its commodity type and physical location code. This enables regular “cycle counting” to better control your inventories. You can set up your inventories in the maintenance shop, the yard, remote stock piles, and other locations with unique location codes. For instance, you may have “10W40 Oil” at three shop locations, and different measurements — quarts, gallons, barrels, etc. Each inventory number can be the same, “10W40 Oil,” but the location code determines the physical location of that particular type of oil and its measurement.

A complete history of all transactions on each line item in your inventory is maintained automatically. This enables you to instantly see all purchases (by vendor, costs, etc.) and all uses (by Project, costs, etc.) of any inventory line item with just a mouse click. A complete inventory summary shows the beginning inventory (to reconcile the inventory system with your physical counts), purchases and issues, and the on-hand inventory levels. All this is performed automatically by the system. Purchases to inventory from the Fund Accounting module and inventory issues from the Cost Accounting module automatically synchronize with this module.

Vendors

The Vendors module automatically generates a vendor history, manages vendor contacts and, if you use them, blanket purchase orders.

Contracts

The Contracts Management enables you to set up, track progress and payments on and manage third party contracts.
