Pavement Management editing and graphical viewing screen.   This entry screen should not be used for normal data entry as it is slow because graph drawing responds to every record update.

 

For normal data entry use the Pavement Management button on Main Menu in the Management section.

Click on a column header to organize data by that criteria and enter a character from keyboard to find the record -   left-double-click mouse to edit record.   If changing survey results graphical changes are reflected immediately.

To save pictures of road surface, name the picture(s) with the road or street name, a dash. the Segment number, a dash, and the numeric date (no slashes).      

 

A picture of this road segment surveyed on April 23, 2007 would be named     CR-269-.15N-4232007        

 

Picture(s) can be in any graphics format (.jpg. png, ....).

 

If you take additional pictures of this segment on the same date then add a dash after the date and sequential numerals 1,2, .....     Do not add a dash numeral (-1) on the very first picture.

 

The pictures are stored under the PaveMgt folder which is under the Images folder which is under your DATA folder which is under the main working folder for this program.   Default location: \rb_ims\data\images\pavemgt

4 . Historical PQIHistorical PQI

Historical PQI

This is the historical Pavement Quality Index for this entire Road or Street (it includes all segments surveyed).   This is a quick way to see overall quality of   CR-269 with all historical surveys on all segments.

5 . Segment SurveyedSegment Surveyed

Segment Surveyed

This is the segment of CR-269 that was surveyed and relates back to the highlighted record and its associated records (below it).   The surveys on this segment run from 2007 back to 2000.    

 

When looking at the graph objects at .15N (mile marker .15 north) the first one is the highlighted record (done in 2007).   The next (green) object back is the second record in browse, on through Seq# 5.

When entering data from this window it's a good idea to click ReOrder Survey Segments to redraw graph.

Copy highlighted record for making a similar entry - then edit any changes and save copied record - saves a lot of key strokes.

Graph CopySave

Right click mouse and select copy or save to file in .bmp or .png format.   If copied you can paste graph into any windows aware software.
